How to make cool effect in Picasa

There are many cool ways to edit your pictures today. You can change colors, manipulate them, retouch them. Most of the pictures in magazines have been through an editing process on a computer. It's not like the good old days. Here is a guide to make some simple but cool effects in Picasa.

To import the picture in Picasa you can just open the folder where the picture is and drag it into picasa. When you have imported the picture we can start to edit.

Scary effect:

There is a tap named basic fixes we start here.

1. Click on auto contrast.
2. Then click on auto color.

Then we move on to the tap tuning. Here you can tune the picture and chose how light or dark you want the picture.

1. Click on Shadows and make it as dark as you like it.
2. Scroll color temperature the whole way up.

Last you click on the tap effects.

1. Sharpen it as much as you can.
2. Click on warmify.
3. Then click on B&W.

Basic fixes:

1. Click on Auto color.

Tuning:

1. Scroll Fill light to the middle of the scrolling bar.
2. Give a little highlight.
3. Scroll Color temperature all the way up.

Effects:

1. Click on glow and adjust as you like.

This will make the picture look antique.

Basic fixes:
1. Click I'm feeling lucky.
2. Click auto contrast.

Tuning:
1. Scroll color temperature the whole way up.
2. Shadows should be in the middle of the bar.
2. Highlight should also be in the middle of the bar.

Effects:
1. Click Sepia.
2. Click Film grain.
3. And warmify.

And Voila!
